In their premier presentation to the Coolidge High School JAG program, Nikola Corporation employees of Coolidge, Arizona, piqued students’ interest in future employment opportunities. The zero-emissions Class 8 battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle manufacturer is significantly increasing quality job opportunities to Coolidge residents who are enthusiastic to impart the impact.

During this past September’s Leadership Development Conference, ten JAG Arizona participants from across the state officially entered into their leadership roles as University of Phoenix LEADS.

Over 150 high school students in JAG programs across the state converged onto the Phoenix College campus for our annual JAG Student Leadership Development Conference.

JAGWorks partnered with Neighborhood Ministries to offer a 3-Day Leadership Bootcamp for Central Phoenix youth. This training was designed and facilitated by JAG Social Services Coordinator, Kasarah Abdella, in two hour intervals each week to allow for reflection time between sessions and topics. Participants learned about job readiness, teamwork, and leadership development, and completed a Build Your Resume workshop with Troy Maskell from Goodwill Industries.

JAG Alumni, Martin Moreno, and the Director of Programming, Trinetta Lipsey hosted the annual event to share the recent outcomes of the graduating Class of 2020 one year after graduation.

JAG partners presented their products and services, scholarship, internship or career opportunities available to JAG students and alumni.

The City of Avondale's Contributions Assistance Program provides financial support to nonprofits for projects and activities that provide health & human services.

Exciting News! Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) is excited to announce that they have four VISTA position openings with their Central Office.

As in-person events came to a standstill in March 2020, Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) was faced with a choice to cancel all events or find a way to go virtual.

On a national level, Jobs for America’s Graduates has helped over 1.4M vulnerable youth over the past four decades and served more than 76,000 young people across 40 states in the 2020-21 school year. Despite the disruption COVID has caused, we are continuing to provide critical JAG services, including follow-up services and guidance for our students for a full year after they graduate from high school. This has been especially critical for the Class of 2020 as they face the most significant employment challenges in decades caused by the COVID pandemic.
