Each year, Faces of JAG Legislative Day brings together the young leaders of tomorrow and the changemakers of today for a day of connection, learning, and impact at the Arizona State Capitol.

This is your opportunity to meet the next generation of civic and community leaders and to play a part in shaping their journey.

Empower Arizona’s Next Generation of Leaders

There are many ways you can make an impact during Legislative Day. Legislators can host JAG students from their districts for a conversation in their office or over lunch on the Senate Lawn. Alumni and volunteers are invited to spend the day supporting student activities, tours, and team-building sessions. Media partners can capture the day’s highlights, from student-led mock sessions to interviews and museum tours that showcase Arizona’s future leaders in action.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Legislators
Legislators may host students in their office or at Wesley Bolin Plaza between 10:30 – 11:30 AM, and/or enjoy lunch with them on the Senate Lawn from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Lunch options are available in the form. Your time and mentorship make a lasting impact on Arizona’s future leaders.

Alumni & Volunteers
Spend the day alongside JAG students at the Arizona State Capitol supporting hands-on learning, leadership, and connection. From helping guide students through tours and mock sessions to joining them for lunch on the Senate Lawn, your presence makes the day unforgettable.

Morning Session

  • 8:15 AM – 9:30 AM: Mock Session

  • 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Gallery & Museum Tours

  • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Visits with Legislators/Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza

  • 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch on the Lawn (Front of Capitol)

Afternoon Session

  • 12:45 PM – 1:30 PM: Mock Session or Museum Tour

  • 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Mock Session or Museum Tour
