Legislative Day is a day of awareness that allows our students the opportunity to meet with our legislators and share with them about the value in supporting programs like JAG. This event was designed to open dialogue between JAG students and lawmakers and to learn how we can become more involved in issues impacting Arizona.

Students in attendance gained the opportunity to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to network with their legislators and community leaders. During the lunch on the lawn, students shared with their district leaders about JAG’s impact on their lives in regards to education and career pathway development.

Though we couldn’t be together in person, we took time to share how JAG persevered through the challenging year, and continued to support our students in meeting their educational and employment goals.
