Legislative Day brings JAG students to the State Capitol to learn about state government and legislative processes through a Mock Session in the House of Representatives. This year, we're inviting Legislatures to join our students for one of our Mock Session Groups and invite their District students for a meet and greet for the other session. Students not meeting with their Legislature will have the opportunity for guided tour of our states Capital!

STUDENT IMPACT
JAG gives students experiences that are unique to their future career goals. This event was designed to open dialogue between JAG students and lawmakers and to learn how students can become more involved in issues impacting Arizona and learn more about careers.

Many students will have an opportunity to meet first-hand with their Senator or Representative to better understand the work they do as a member of the Arizona Legislature.

2022 LEGISLATIVE DAY

THANK YOU TO OUR DISTRICT LEGISLATURES
Students in attendance gained the opportunity to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to network with their legislators and community leaders. During the lunch on the lawn, students shared with their district leaders about JAG’s impact on their lives in regards to education and career pathway development.
