As a result of today’s economic, academic, and environmental barriers, employment rates among 16-21 year olds have declined since 2000, according to a Brookings Institute report released in April 2019.

Our mission helps to change this trend by exposing our students and young adults to a variety of job-related learning experiences and career opportunities. We work with employers like APS, AT&T, Honeywell, SRP and Fry’s Food Stores, and partners with education and supportive resources, helping youth statewide overcome challenges and maximize their successes pursuing education, gaining valuable work experience, and excelling in meaningful careers.

JAG’s Employer partners bring career opportunities to life for JAG students, giving them hands-on career exploration and face to face interaction with hiring managers, providing guidance and direction as our students pursue employment opportunities.
