JAG’s mission is to help young people stay in school and to acquire the academic, personal, leadership and vocations skills they will need to be successful upon graduation.

JAG consistently meets and surpasses national outcome standards with an average 98% graduation rate and 95% of graduates employed and/or attending further education.

As a “Family of Learners”, Tempe High values the diverse backgrounds and experiences their students bring to the high school. As the city’s first public high school, Tempe Buffaloes have earned numerous academic, artistic, and athletic awards, since being established in 1908.
