On December 15th, Tolleson JAG Works & Teen Council students hosted their holiday party at the Tolleson Recreation Center where they reconnected with one another over the winter break. Students treated each other to their favorite holiday dish and participated in a white elephant gift exchange that included; gift cards, a mini waffle maker, a gaming keyboard-mouse pad set, and more.
Later that week, the students demonstrated their musical talents by Christmas caroling aboard a themed float that paraded through the streets on Friday and Sunday evening. They traveled from street to street in neighborhoods singing to families and handing out gifts to those in need and passing out candy canes to families in attendance. On the second night of Christmas caroling, the students were treated to hot chocolate and cookies with Tolleson Mayor and JAG Alumni, Juan Rodriguez.
