We are thrilled to announce that Linda Jensen has joined the Board of Directors at Jobs for Arizona's Graduates (JAG). With over three decades of invaluable experience in education, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to our organization.
Linda's journey in education began as a sixth-grade teacher in the Cartwright School District. Since then, her commitment to learning and teaching has only deepened. Today, she continues to make a difference by tutoring adult English language learners, demonstrating her dedication to empowering individuals through education.
According to Linda, "Traditional school curriculum is not enough for everyone. Some students need a little more academic support, leadership practice, and confidence boosting to reach their potential." She emphasizes the importance of programs like JAG, which provide essential support to students who may otherwise fall through the cracks. "JAG is essential programming for these students," Linda asserts. "Invest in JAG and you invest in the future of Arizona - our workforce, our communities, and the next generation of leaders."
Beyond her teaching expertise, Linda possesses a diverse skill set that includes project management, alumni relations, and philanthropy. Her multifaceted background will enrich our board's strategic initiatives, ensuring that JAG remains at the forefront of educational innovation and empowerment.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Linda is an active member of her local community, always seeking opportunities to give back and make a positive impact.
