Zovio’s Corporate Social Responsibility goal is Activating Ambition in all learners, and we do this by focusing on two core areas: providing opportunities for all and supporting learning beyond the classroom.
On November 13, 2019, our new corporate partner Zovio hosted a check presentation during their ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new corporate headquarters in Chandler. Zovio’s generous donation will help to support JAG’s career and college readiness program.
Earlier this school year, Zovio held a Back-to-School Drive collecting more than 8,300 school supplies for JAG students who struggle financially and may otherwise do without. The Zovio team packed and delivered the supplies to the JAG staff during the August Back-to-School Celebration. “We were overjoyed when the Zovio team delivered all the school supplies at our staff meeting,” said Trinetta Lipsey, Director of Programs. “There were tears of joy and excitement as the JAG Coordinators collected the items for their students in need.”
Zovio has a robust history of spreading social good and raising awareness, donating $10.3 million in community contributions since 2005. In addition, Zovio promotes social responsibility by giving their staff the time and resources to support the communities where they live, work and play, forming lasting relationships with community partners.
