We would like to congratulate our own, Graciela Garcia Candia, JAG President for her nomination for this prestigious award. With a genuine “students come first” attitude and a continued desire to serve and provide quality services to the underrepresented students of Arizona, her leadership has allowed for continued growth and strength in the Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates organization. Candia started her career with JAG in 1982 when she accepted the role as the JAG Coordinator at Tolleson Union High School. In 2003, Candia became President and has expanded program sites across the state while continuing to strengthen relationships with state and local business, government, education and community leaders. For the past 19 years, Jobs for Arizona's Graduates has receive the highest honor awarded by Jobs for America’s Graduates; the 5 of 5 Award for excellence in post high school student outcomes. "I'm honored to be nominated and recognized alongside a group of inspirational women leaders. Their talents and determination strengthen communities throughout Arizona."
