Arizona's Future Empowered by Credit Union Backing for JAG

In a heartwarming display of community support, the students of West Point High School's Jobs for Arizona's Graduates (JAG) program recently welcomed representatives from Desert Financial Credit Union to their high school campus for a prestigious check presentation. The event began with a burst of energy and enthusiasm as the JAG students lined the entrance to the Performing Arts auditorium, brandishing signs of welcome and cheering enthusiastically for all who entered. Arianna Guerra, a high school senior and the student-elected State President of the JAG program, along with Trevion Thurman, a junior and the student-elected President-Elect, took the stage as the event's emcees. They warmly welcomed the Desert Financial Credit Union staff and provided an introduction to JAG, explaining its mission and the positive impact it has on the lives of students across the state. 

In addition to the Desert Financial Credit Union staff, the event was graced by the presence of the Tolleson Union High School District administrative staff, demonstrating the collective commitment to the success of JAG in Arizona's schools. West Point High School Principal, Brandi Haskins, took the stage to express her deep appreciation for JAG and its transformative role on their campus. Her words echoed the sentiment that JAG's mission should be a statewide endeavor, accessible to all students.
