Dress for Success Phoenix brought a mobile unit of their professional attire collection for JAG students at Coolidge High School in May. Students had the opportunity to experience filling out a style card with their preferences before browsing clothing that would fit them. After being shown the current collection by Mary Crawford, the Director of Women’s Services at Dress for Success, the students were given an outfit to keep for their next interview.
Dress for Success Phoenix has been a longtime volunteer for JAG. Since 2009, the nonprofit has primarily supported more than 18,000 women across Phoenix in their pursuits of achieving economic independence by making professional attire and professional development more accessible and affordable.
Our Employer Partners and volunteers support JAG through volunteering as guest speakers and organizing events such as this one. The Dress for Success Phoenix event supported the lesson plan for the day with a presentation on dressing to impress for interviews and the importance of first impressions for securing jobs in the future.
