As the new school year begins, Jobs for Arizona's Graduates (JAG) is thrilled to invite you to the Celebration of Success Breakfast Event on Thursday, August 22nd, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This annual event is a time to celebrate our impact and outcomes, recognizing the hard work and achievements of our students, specialists, and community partners.
Earlier this month, the JAG team traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend the Jobs for America's Graduates National Training Seminar (NTS). We are proud to announce that JAG Arizona received the prestigious 6 of 6 State Award for the Class of 2023 outcomes. Our impressive results include 83% of graduates employed full time, 56% enrolled in post-secondary education, and a remarkable 96% achieving a full-time positive outcome (education, job, or military).
Our Celebration of Success Breakfast Event will highlight these achievements and more, shining a spotlight on the outstanding educators who support our students daily. This year, we are especially proud to recognize the students from the Gila Bend High School JAG program as the recipients of the 2024 Program of the Year Award. Additionally, 14 JAG teachers will be honored for receiving the National 6 of 6 Award for student outcomes. Three JAG Specialists will also be recognized for the Outstanding Specialist Award they received at NTS for their exceptional program outcomes.
Since 1980, over 45,000 young Arizonans have benefited from JAG services, propelling careers in fields from healthcare to education and beyond. Today, JAG Arizona serves over 1,300 students annually, consistently exceeding national performance standards.
