Boeing Receives 2024 Community Service Award at Career Development Conference

At the 2024 Career Development Conference, we had the honor of presenting Boeing with the prestigious Community Service Award, recognizing their outstanding dedication to supporting the growth and success of Arizona's students.

This award, established in honor of APS's nearly 27 years of monetary and volunteer support for JAG, is given each year to a corporate, community, or philanthropic partner that exemplifies the values of JAG’s mission—empowering students to graduate from high school, pursue higher education, and plan for their future careers. Boeing’s investment in JAG has been unwavering, and their efforts have made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students.

JAG President & CEO, Marjories DeRubeis, and Monica Telles, senior manager at APS, had the pleasure of presenting the award to the Boeing team. In Marjorie's remarks, she highlighted Boeing’s steadfast commitment to quality education, reducing inequalities, and fostering economic growth. Boeing’s efforts go far beyond financial contributions; they actively engage with students and educators in meaningful ways. From providing swag bags for JAG Coordinators at events to hosting school site tours and visiting classrooms, Boeing’s involvement in shaping student success is truly remarkable.
