The JAG Arizona Alumni Association is led by a team of passionate, service-driven alumni who are shaping the future of JAG beyond high school. Each officer brings unique experience, perspective, and commitment to building a statewide network where alumni can thrive, connect, and give back.

These leaders are responsible for designing alumni programs, strengthening employer connections, promoting career services, and creating mentorship opportunities between graduates and current JAG students. Their work ensures the JAG experience doesn’t end at graduation—it grows with you.
Amy Beaman, President
Westview High School, Class of 2018
Amy is a multi-degree graduate with a background in chemistry, biology, and elementary education. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography and is passionate about healthcare and STEM access. Amy brings strong leadership, advocacy, and a desire to help others feel seen, supported, and empowered to pursue their dreams.
Michelle Islas Hernandez, Secretary
Coronado High School, Class of 2020
Michelle is a recipient of the Kenneth M. Smith and Dougherty Foundation Scholarships and is currently completing her degree in education. Through her work with JAG, she has grown in leadership and public speaking and remains committed to helping JAG students develop their voice and confidence. Michelle leads with heart, and her ability to connect others makes her a key storyteller for alumni voices across the state.
Corina Covarrubias, Treasurer
Pathways to Education, Class of 2017
Corina is a dedicated advocate for student success and financial literacy. With a deep understanding of the challenges students face after high school, she brings both compassion and strategic thinking to her role. As a former Career Specialist and current JAG alumni leader, Corina is passionate about building community, offering career guidance, and promoting responsible financial planning among alumni.
Lenoa Williamson, Historian
Westview High School, Class of 2022
Lenoa is a first-generation college student and current Arizona State University student pursuing a career in technological mediation. As Historian, she documents alumni stories, events, and impact, preserving the legacy of JAG. Her experience in AmeriCorps, mentorship, and digital storytelling allows her to amplify voices and inspire future generations of JAG graduates.

Sebastian, pictured in the middle, leads the coordination of the JAG Alumni Association, supporting the Fellows and Officers in building alumni programming, events, and outreach. As a proud JAG graduate himself, he brings firsthand experience and passion to the role, helping alumni stay connected, informed, and empowered as they pursue their career and education goals.
