NOTE: Only up to (2) Applicants per program may be selected. If selected as a LEAD, student cannot hold an officer position within their school/program.
Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a JAG Program OR 2025-26 classified Senior enrolled in a JAG Program
- Demonstrated record of commitment to JAG/School (through attendance records, GPA and/or letter of support from Teachers/Administrators)
- Professional attitude and ability to work well with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated worker
- Strong interest and motivation to learn and develop high performance leadership skills
- Reliable transportation is required to attend monthly in-person meetings and activities
- Must stay motivated and engaged with all program CA activities
- Must increase G.P.A. when applicable
- Should have a non-competing schedule
- Must obtain an Arizona State Identification or Driver's License
- Must be able to travel out of state
LEADS Program Requirements:
- Monthly In-Person Meetings
- Monthly Virtual Meetings
- Participate in public relations event
- Public speaking required
- Plan and implement statewide initiatives
- Participate in News Desk, Faces of JAG and other JAG filming and news stories
