2020 Celebration of Success Virtual
As in-person events came to a standstill in March 2020, Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) was faced with a choice to cancel all events or find a way to go virtual.

A Story of Hope & Success
On a national level, Jobs for America’s Graduates has helped over 1.4M vulnerable youth over the past four decades and served more than 76,000 young people across 40 states in the 2020-21 school year. Despite the disruption COVID has caused, we are continuing to provide critical JAG services, including follow-up services and guidance for our students for a full year after they graduate from high school. This has been especially critical for the Class of 2020 as they face the most significant employment challenges in decades caused by the COVID pandemic.

On April 28th, JAG was excited to announce six JAG Arizona seniors as recipients of the JAG National Smith Scholars! This year, more than 161 applications were received and only 23 were awarded. Arizona is very proud to celebrate the successes of our amazing students!

Celebrating 40 Years
Over the past 40 years, over 40,000 young people have received JAG services in Arizona and gone on to become accountants, nurses, teachers, business owners, firefighters and elected government officials.
Today, JAG has 30 programs in Arizona serving over 1,300 students and is consistently exceeding the national standards set by Jobs for America’s Graduates.
