2017-18 Leadership Development Conference

JAG Students Across Arizona Join The Career Association

Every year, Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates hosts a conference for elected student Leaders. This year, the event took place at Paradise Valley High School on September 19th, providing 145 JAG students an opportunity to further develop their leadership skills. Students heard from a wide variety of speakers on team leadership, public relations, community service, fundraising, career exploration, and college readiness. The youth were given the opportunity to build on their school projects and learn more about their roles and responsibilities while serving as a JAG Officer on their school campus or community-based program. The young leaders were treated to an inspirational message about reaching their maximum potential by Terry Stenzel, AT&T Vice President and General Manager.

Thank you to all of our guest speakers for giving their time and talents to help our young leaders develop their leadership skills further!
