Help us support families in need! From February 3rd through March 23rd, the University of Phoenix LEADS representatives Giselle Rojas Guzman and Jasmin Batallones are raising money for Habitat for Humanity as the National Career Association Service Project.

Why Habitat for Humanity?

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in our communities to help build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

ABOUT US

University of Phoenix LEADS
GISELLE ROJAS GUZMAN
I am a senior at Coronado High School in Scottsdale Arizona, I am Vice President of Coronado Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG) program and member of the University Phoenix LEADS 2022-2023. I am a proud first generation student attending Arizona State University in the Fall 2023. I enjoy hanging out with friends and painting on white canvas to express my emotions. But most importantly I love giving back to my Coronado Community that once gave me and my family and I a hand growing up. It is important to highlight our diversity in the community and grow together as one! Go Dons!

JASMIN M. BATALLONES
As a young Filipina, I have helped a lot of people in small, different ways and this is my chance to help others while also changing their lives. I am a senior from Paradise Valley High School and also the Vice President of Career Development and Media Relations in my JAG class. This is my first year as a member of the University of Phoenix Leads (2022-2023) and my second year as a member of the JAG. I like to show my artistic and creative side in various ways such as painting, journaling, and doing makeup. I’m very excited to learn something new and successfully bring people together.
