That changed at West Point High School when Trevion joined Jobs for Arizona's Graduates. The program provided intentional exposure that connected his talent to a tangible future. Touring campuses such as Howard University and meeting professionals who reflected his own background helped him see himself in environments he once considered out of reach. Through one on one guidance from his JAG Specialist and consistent leadership development, he learned how to channel his influence into preparation, focus, and execution.

During his junior year, Trevion was selected as a University of Phoenix LEADS State Officer, stepping into leadership at a statewide level. Through this role, he attended the 2023 National Student Leadership Academy in Washington, D.C., where he strengthened his leadership skills, engaged in professional development, and connected with student leaders from across the country. 

As a LEADS, he also helped lead state events, spoke on stages in front of peers and partners, and met face to face with legislators to share his JAG story. These experiences sharpened his public speaking abilities and expanded his confidence, reinforcing that his voice carried weight not just in his classroom, but across Arizona and nationally.

After months of planning and preparing with the support from his JAG Specialist,  Ryan Klem, Trevion proved himself at the JAG Arizona Career Development Conference. Competing in the Business Plan category, he earned 1st Place at the state level, securing his spot to represent Arizona at the National Career Development Conference.

At the National Career Development Conference in April 2025, Trevion and his teammate, Omari Thompson, delivered their business presentation before a panel of judges and earned 1st Place in the nation!
