Technical Skill Training Opportunity for JAG Students

In collaboration with the Microsoft Imagine Academy and Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates (JAG), the Maricopa Community Colleges are excited to offer a Microsoft Certification program designed specifically for JAG Students through the Maricopa IT Institute. Check out the "How to Enroll" video below!

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program prepares students to take the Microsoft Office 2019 Excel Expert certification and covers a variety of topics, including how to manage and format data, use advanced formulas, validate and audit data, analyze data, use simple macros, and collaborate with others using Excel. Each module provides guided steps and a cornerstone project to apply the skills learned. This is a self-paced class with specific start and end dates.

This program is FREE for up to 15 JAG Students
Offered online as a self-paced course with weekly, lab hours
Validate skills learned with formal certifications
Connect with Maricopa IT Institute staff and learn more about IT Career Pathways
Upon completion of the course you can take the Microsoft Excel Certification exam for FREE
The certification can be turned back into Maricopa Community Colleges for 1 Credit which can be applied to your program should you choose to continue.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Any JAG student, grades 11+ including incoming students, current students completing their JAG year, graduates and Alumni.
Recommended for those with a very basic understanding of Microsoft Excel (create a workbook, enter and edit data, save and print, create basic formulas)
