In light of the evolving public health situation, JAG will be postponing our 2020 Career Development Conference. Unfortunately, with the school closures, the temporary closure of the Mesa Convention Center, and the nationwide recommendation against gatherings of more than 50 people it is no longer possible to hold the Career Development Conference as planned.
As information is changing rapidly, JAG is monitoring updates and closures regarding our community, which impacts all of our JAG Spring Events. We'll continue to take guidance from federal, state, and school officials. The health and well-being of our students, teachers and staff is our highest priority and JAG is taking extra precautions to avoid and reduce the spread of any illness, including COVID-19.
We are closely monitoring the evolving public health situation and will keep all of our partners and volunteers updated if and when we reschedule Career Development Conference. If you have any questions please reach out to our office 602-216-9503.
Each year, more than 950 students and community partners participate in the Jobs for Arizona’s Graduates Career Development Conference. Throughout the year, JAG students work to achieve academic, personal, leadership and career skills that will help them secure quality employment or pursue further education or training immediately after graduation. JAG participants from the 9th through 12th grades will be presenting their Programs of Work and celebrating a successful year.
