The success of the LEADS program is made possible through a significant partnership with the University of Phoenix. With the invaluable support of the University of Phoenix, our participants are guided by dedicated mentors who offer encouragement, professional insights, and leadership development. These mentors play a crucial role in guiding the students, offering encouragement, and providing professional insights into the leadership skills being developed.
Program Responsibilities
LEADS students are expected to:
- Participate in weekly leadership development training sessions.
- Attend in-person events, including professional gatherings and monthly volunteer community service activities.
- Take charge of planning and implementing key events such as Legislative Day and the Career Development Conference.
- Represent JAG Arizona at the National Student Leadership Academy and other significant events.
- Utilize skills acquired to enhance JAG programs across all participating schools.
- Recognize and engage with JAG’s corporate and educational partners and sponsors.
